Dedicated to the memory of Stanley Bentley

This site is a tribute to Stanley Bentley. Loving Husband of Yvonne for 71 years.  Dearly loved Father of Paul and Susan and Father in law to Jon and Marina.  Greatly loved Grandad of Victoria, Ben and Mara-Sophia and friend to many. 

Thank you for all the messages and condolence cards we have received.  The special words and memories give us some comfort at this sad time.

A celebration of Stanley Bentley's life

Funeral service is at Stockman & Loram Service Chapel (Brixham) on Friday 22nd November 2024 at 2pm. There is plenty of street parking in the immediate vicinity. Please park sensibly and be courteous to neighbours by not blocking driveways and not obscuring the junction.

Thoughts

Every once in a while, you meet someone who makes a lasting impression on you. Mr. Bentley (Stan), was one of those people. Always calm, extremely wise and with a captivating speaking voice, that would have done any broadcasting company proud. The way in which he looked after himself, is reflected in his longevity. He will never be forgotten and will live on, as one of life's greatest role models.

I will always remember your strength through adversity, your knowledge of all things that grow, and the love you had for your whole family..I wish you could have stayed longer but am so grateful I got to know you even for a short time. ❤️
